Damage
Many types of damage can be recovered.
Pictures that are badly torn, creased, stained even stuck to the glass in the frame.
Re-composing the picture removed some of the worst damage. The surface tears were repaired and part of the fence and sky reconstructed. Finally the slight yellowing was corrected.
